  • Trade your own account, with your own decisions. That is the whole rule.
  • Aggressive, unconventional and high-variance trading is fine.
  • Four things are not: sharing, duplicate profiles, coordination, exploiting a defect.

What Is Not Prohibited

Losing money, trading rarely or often, holding to resolution, closing early, being wrong, being right, and being as aggressive as you like inside your account's stated limits. Holding positions in related markets across your own five accounts, each within its own limits, is permitted.

What the rules exist to stop is narrower than it looks: taking a payout without taking the risk the program is measuring, even where the platform permitted the individual orders. Good faith is a standard rather than a list, so an arrangement not named below can still fall foul of it — and if you are unsure whether something is permitted, ask before you do it. Email support@fundedpredictiontrader.com describing the strategy or the account arrangement.

Account Sharing and Duplicate Profiles

A person may hold one FPT profile. You must not trade an account belonging to someone else, and must not let another person trade yours.

Account sharing means giving your login details to anyone, including a coach or signal provider; letting another person place trades on your account, paid or not; and selling, renting, gifting, transferring or buying an account. There is no family or short-period exception.

A duplicate profile is any second registration representing the same person: another email address, an alias, a relative's name you actually control, a company or trust used to hold accounts beyond your personal five, or a profile created to return after a closure or to use a payment method that would fail verification in your own name. Two people in one household, each trading their own accounts, are two customers.

Creating a second profile to exceed the five-active-account limit, the $500,000 combined notional allocation or the $25,000 monthly payout maximum is prohibited; those limits are per person and are not reset by a company structure. See Account Limits. If you already have two profiles, email support@fundedpredictiontrader.com from the one you want to keep — a duplicate you report is an administrative fix; one found in a payout review is not.

Account information must be accurate and belong to the account holder, and the payment method and payout destination must be owned by you. Verification may be required before a funded account is activated and before a payout is released. False identity, address, ownership or payment information is a breach.

Coordinated trading is prohibited where people arrange their trading so the program pays out on a result no individual trader earned:

  • Opposing positions across accounts, so one account is guaranteed to pass and the other to breach.
  • Volume farming, placing the same trades across many accounts because the ones that pass pay more than the failures cost.
  • One person directing the trading of several nominally separate accounts.
  • An organiser buying or funding accounts for a share of the payouts.

What is prohibited is coordination whose purpose or effect is to shift risk between FPT accounts. Trading the same market as someone else, or following a research service, is not.

FPT may treat accounts showing correlated entries, exits, sizing and timing across unconnected profiles as a single related group, applying the five-account ceiling, the $500,000 allocation limit and the $25,000 monthly maximum to it. FPT may pause and decline payouts, close accounts and terminate the relationship for every account in the group, including ones that appear compliant. Disclose a genuine connection up front.

Platform, Price and Data Exploitation

Trading against a known or suspected defect in FPT's pricing, market data, fill simulation, balance or drawdown calculation, or dashboard is prohibited. For the seven prohibited behaviours, see Market and Position Rules.

Arbitrage is not prohibited as a category. Acting on a genuine price discrepancy between markets, venues or related contracts is legitimate.

Automation used to exploit a defect, to place orders faster than the intended interface allows, or to evade a position limit is prohibited, as is attempting to access, probe, reverse-engineer, overload or interfere with FPT systems. A trader who discovers a defect must stop trading on it and report it.

Position Limits and Payment

Splitting a position across orders, sub-markets, near-identical markets or accounts to exceed your allowed size is prohibited, as is choosing a market because it is thin enough to be moved. See Max Open Size and Market Limits.

Fraudulent purchases, stolen payment instruments and improper chargeback misuse are breaches and grounds for termination. FPT does not prohibit a lawful payment dispute; what is prohibited is using it to obtain a service without paying, or to reverse a purchase after the account has been traded or has violated a rule. Presenting simulated FPT results as live results, or impersonating FPT, is also prohibited.

How FPT Responds

FPT reviews account activity and may analyse orders, positions, timing, sizing, risk behaviour, market selection and performance — see What FPT Monitors.

FPT applies the least severe response that addresses the conduct, and a first, inadvertent limit breach is not treated as fraud. Where a breach is established, the available responses run from voiding the affected trades or result through withholding a payout to resetting, suspending or closing the account — and, where accounts are related, closing the group. An order the platform accepted is not a finding that the conduct behind it was permitted. See Breaches and Rule Reviews.
