A funded FPT Scale account becomes eligible to request a payout after five qualifying payout days. A qualifying day is a trading day on which the account's net simulated profit reaches the account's qualifying amount — $100 on the $25k, $150 on the $50k, $200 on the $100k.

The requirement is the same on all three account sizes. Only the dollar amount that makes a day "qualify" changes.

What Makes a Day Qualify

A day qualifies when the account's net profit for that day is at or above its qualifying amount. Net means after the day's losing positions are taken into account — it is the day's result, not the best trade in it.

$50k FPT Scale$150 or more5

The per-size amounts are explained in Qualifying-Day Minimum by Account Size.

What a Non-Qualifying Day Does

A day that finishes below the qualifying amount — or that finishes negative — simply does not count. It is not a breach, it does not remove a qualifying day you already earned, and it does not restart the cycle.

So a cycle can look like this on a $50k account:

DayNet resultQualifying day?Running count
Monday+$310Yes1
Tuesday+$40No1
Wednesday-$180No1
Thursday+$620Yes2
Friday+$155Yes3

Two more qualifying days finish the requirement. The five days do not have to be consecutive and there is no fixed calendar length to a payout cycle.

The Five Days Are Not the Only Condition

Reaching five qualifying days makes the account eligible to request. A payout still has to satisfy the rest of the payout rules:

  • The 40% payout-cycle consistency rule — no single day may be more than 40% of the cycle's total profit. See Funded 40% Payout-Cycle Consistency.
  • The account's payout cap at its current scaling milestone, which limits how much a single approved payout can be. See Payout Caps.
  • The $25,000 aggregate monthly payout maximum per person across all accounts.
  • Identity verification being complete, and the account being free of an open breach or unresolved review.

The complete sequence is in Payout Rules and Review.

Chasing the Minimum Is Usually a Mistake

Because a day only counts once it clears the qualifying amount, some traders are tempted to force a small win late in a session purely to tick a day off. Two rules push back on that.

First, consistency. A cycle built from five barely-qualifying days and one very large day will fail the 40% test on that large day. Second, the good-faith rules. Trading designed to manufacture a qualifying day rather than to trade the market is reviewable conduct under Good-Faith Trading and Prohibited Conduct.

A cycle of five reasonably even qualifying days satisfies both rules without any special effort.

The Same Idea in the Evaluation

The evaluation uses the same structure: five profitable days, measured with the same per-size minimums, before the evaluation can pass. That is deliberate — the habit that gets you funded is the habit that gets you paid. See Five Profitable Days.

After the Fifth Day

Once the fifth qualifying day is recorded, the dashboard makes the payout request available. Submitting it starts review, which is a separate step with no stated time promise. If review approves the request, approved payouts are processed within 48 hours of approval.

An approved payout also advances the account's scaling milestone — the payout cap and the max open size both step up. See Scaling Tables by Account Size.
