Contents (15 sections)

This article states the complete payout rules for funded FPT Scale accounts. It is the controlling operational rule for how a payout is earned, requested, reviewed, approved, capped and processed.

FPT Scale is a simulated trader evaluation program. Balances, orders, positions, fills and profits inside an FPT account are simulated. FPT does not route customer orders to Polymarket, Kalshi or any exchange, does not hold customer funds and does not execute live trades for customers. A payout is a real, company-funded performance payment made by FPT under this article — not a withdrawal of a deposit, not an investment return, and not a gambling win.

This article is incorporated by reference into the FPT Scale Program Agreement at the version shown above. The full list of incorporated rules articles, with versions and effective dates, is published in the FPT Scale Rules Index.

1. Scope

  1. This article applies to every funded FPT Scale account of $25,000, $50,000 and $100,000.
  2. It does not apply to evaluation accounts. An evaluation account never produces a payout; it produces a pass or a breach. The evaluation parameters are stated in Complete Evaluation Rules by Account Size.
  3. Where this article and a marketing page, an FAQ answer or an unversioned support reply differ, this article controls.
  4. Billing of program-access fees is a separate subject and is governed by Monthly Billing, Reset Fees and the Refund Policy.

2. Definitions

  1. Funded account — an FPT Scale account that has passed its evaluation and been activated at the funded stage. What that means in full is set out in What Funded Account Means at FPT.
  2. Qualifying payout day — a trading day on which the funded account's net simulated profit is at least the account's qualifying amount under section 3.
  3. Payout cycle — the period in which five qualifying payout days are accumulated and against which consistency is measured.
  4. Cycle profit — the total net simulated profit counted toward the payout cycle.
  5. Payout cap — the maximum amount FPT will pay for a single approved payout at the account's current scaling milestone.
  6. Approved payout — a payout request that has completed review and been approved by FPT.

3. Qualifying Payout Days

  1. A funded account becomes eligible to request a payout after five qualifying payout days in the cycle.
  2. A day qualifies only when the account's net profit for that day is at or above the account's qualifying amount:
AccountQualifying amount for one payout dayQualifying days required
$25k FPT Scale$1005
$50k FPT Scale$1505
$100k FPT Scale$2005
  1. A day below the qualifying amount does not count as a qualifying day. It is not a breach and it does not reset the count of days already earned.
  2. The five qualifying days do not have to be consecutive.
  3. These are the same per-size minimums used for a profitable day during the evaluation. See Qualifying-Day Minimum by Account Size.

4. The 40% Payout-Cycle Consistency Rule

  1. No single trading day may account for more than 40% of the total profit counted toward the payout cycle.
  2. Consistency is assessed at the point a payout is requested, against the cycle's total profit.
  3. Worked example, $50k Scale: a cycle totalling $4,000 of profit permits a maximum single-day contribution of $1,600. A cycle containing a $2,200 day fails the rule until further profit raises the cycle total enough that the largest day sits at or below 40% of it.
  4. Failing consistency is not by itself a breach of the account. It means the payout is not yet payable in the form requested; FPT may hold the request, reduce it, or ask the trader to continue trading the cycle.
  5. Not yet published: exactly how losing days, a mid-cycle change of account state and a partially completed cycle enter the consistency calculation is not finalised. FPT will publish the full treatment in The 40% Consistency Rule before launch. Nothing in this section should be read as stating an edge-case treatment that is not written here.

5. The 90/10 Profit Split

  1. The profit split on a funded FPT Scale account is 90% to the trader and 10% to FPT.
  2. The split is the same on every account size and does not change with scaling.
  3. The split mechanics are handled internally by FPT. The trader-facing figures published in this article and in the account dashboard — including the payout caps in section 6 — are already net to the trader.
  4. Full detail is in The 90/10 Profit Split.

6. Payout Caps

  1. Each approved payout is subject to the payout cap in force for the account at that milestone.
  2. Caps are net to the trader. A cap of $1,000 means the trader can receive up to $1,000, after the 90/10 mechanics in section 5 are handled internally. The cap is not a gross figure that is then split.
  3. The cap ladders are:
Milestone$25k cap$50k cap$100k cap
1st approved payout$500$1,000$1,500
2nd approved payout$750$1,500$2,000
3rd approved payout$1,000$2,000$2,500
4th and later$1,500$2,500$3,500
  1. The figure on the "4th and later" row is the terminal maximum. Payout caps do not scale beyond it.
  2. Profit above the cap is not forfeited by the cap alone; it remains in the account balance subject to every other rule in this article and in the funded rules.
  3. Detail and worked examples are in Payout Caps.

7. Scaling on Approved Payouts

  1. The payout cap and the account's max open size both step up on each approved payout. A requested, pending or denied payout does not advance the ladder.
  2. The complete per-size ladders, including the funded starting max open size, are stated in Scaling Tables by Account Size.
  3. Scaling is part of the purchased economics of the account. A reduction to a published ladder applies only to accounts purchased on or after the effective date of that change.

8. The Aggregate Monthly Payout Maximum

  1. A person may receive a maximum of $25,000 in payouts per month across all of their FPT accounts, whatever the number, size or status of those accounts.
  2. The maximum is measured per person, not per account. Holding multiple accounts does not raise it.
  3. Not yet published: whether the month is a calendar month or a rolling 30-day period is not finalised. FPT will publish the measurement period before launch. Until it is published, no document, dashboard tooltip or support reply states one.
  4. See The Aggregate Monthly Payout Maximum.

9. Requesting a Payout

  1. A payout is requested by the account holder from the FPT dashboard.
  2. At the time of the request the account must satisfy all of the following:
  3. Five qualifying payout days accumulated in the cycle (section 3).
  4. The 40% cycle consistency rule (section 4).
  5. No open breach and no unresolved rule review on the account. Breach conditions are stated in Breaches During the Funded Stage.
  6. Identity verification complete, as required by Verification Before Funded Activation or Payout.
  7. Account information accurate and the payout destination owned by the account holder. FPT does not pay a third party on a trader's behalf.
  8. A request that fails one of these conditions is not rejected outright; the dashboard states the condition that is outstanding.

10. Review

  1. Every payout request is reviewed before approval. Review is a separate step from processing.
  2. There is no stated time promise on the review step. The 48-hour figure in section 11 applies to processing after approval, not to review. Any wording that suggests a 48-hour review is a summary and does not override this clause.
  3. Review may examine order and position history, timing, market selection, risk behaviour, sizing against the account's limits and market-volume caps, account and profile integrity, verification status, and related-account activity. The scope of that analysis is described in Data Monitoring and Performance Analysis.
  4. FPT may ask for additional information during review. A request that FPT cannot verify because information was not supplied may be held or denied.
  5. The reasons a request commonly takes longer are listed in Why a Payout May Require Review.

11. Approval and Processing

  1. On approval, FPT determines the payable amount by applying the cap in section 6 and the monthly maximum in section 8.
  2. Approved payouts are processed within 48 hours of approval.
  3. Processing is FPT's act of sending the payment. The time a payment then takes to arrive depends on the payout method and is outside FPT's control.
  4. Payout methods have not been published. FPT will publish the available methods before the first payout cycle and will not name a provider before then. See Payout Methods.
  5. An approved payout advances the account's scaling milestone under section 7.
  6. Taxes arising on a payout are the customer's responsibility. See Taxes and Customer Responsibility.

12. Denial

  1. FPT may deny a payout request where a rule in this article, in the funded rules, or in Good-Faith Trading and Prohibited Conduct has been breached.
  2. A denial states the rule relied on.
  3. A denied request may be appealed. The appeal route and what to include are in Payout Denial and Appeal.
  4. A denial for a conduct breach may also result in the account being closed. A denial on a technical condition — an unmet qualifying day, an unsatisfied consistency check, incomplete verification — does not close the account.

13. Funded Resets

  1. Funded account resets are not available at launch. A breached funded account cannot be reset for a fee. See Funded Resets at Launch.
  2. Reset fees stated in Reset Fees apply to evaluation accounts only.

14. Versioning

  1. This article is versioned. Each purchase records the rule versions in force at the moment it was made.
  2. Payout economics are part of the purchased terms. A reduction applies only to accounts purchased on or after its effective date.
  3. A material change states expressly whether it applies to existing funded accounts or only to new purchases. Material purchased terms are never changed retroactively without saying so.
  4. An unversioned support answer never changes a customer's purchased terms.
