Funded FPT Scale accounts of every size

Contents (15 sections)

This article is incorporated by reference into the FPT Scale Program Agreement. It is a binding rules document, not a summary. The full list of incorporated rules and their versions is published in the Current FPT Scale Rules Index.

A funded FPT Scale account is a simulated performance account that FPT activates after you pass the one-step evaluation. Your orders, positions, fills and balance in that account are simulated. The payouts you can earn from it are real, company-funded compensation paid by FPT under these rules.

This article states the operational rules that govern the funded stage for every account size.

1. Scope and Status

  1. These rules apply to every funded FPT Scale account, at every account size, from the moment the funded account is activated.
  2. Where these rules and an ordinary explanatory article disagree, these rules control. Where these rules and the Program Agreement disagree, the Program Agreement controls, and your checkout record controls the transaction-specific fields of your purchase.
  3. Your purchase record pins the version of this article that applies to your account. An unversioned support answer never changes your purchased terms.

2. What a Funded Account Is

  1. A funded FPT Scale account is a simulated performance account. Account balances, orders, positions, fills and profits inside it are simulated.
  2. FPT does not route your orders to Polymarket, Kalshi or any other exchange, does not hold customer funds, does not take deposits and does not execute live trades for customers.
  3. "Funded", "funded allocation" and "account size" describe the size of the simulated account and the risk and payout parameters attached to it. They are not a cash balance, deposit, capital contribution or buying power belonging to you.
  4. Nothing in the funded stage is a live-capital arrangement unless FPT separately confirms one in writing. See Future Live-Capital Review.
  5. A fuller explanation is published in What "Funded Account" Means at FPT.

3. The Profit Split

  1. The profit split on every funded FPT Scale account is 90% to the trader and 10% to FPT.
  2. The split applies at every account size and does not change as the account scales.
  3. Published payout caps are stated net to the trader. A cap of $1,000 means you can receive up to $1,000 after the split mechanics are handled internally. You do not subtract the firm's 10% from a published cap a second time.

4. Funded Starting Max Open Size

A funded account begins at the starting max open size for its size.

AccountFunded starting max open size
$25k FPT Scale$500
$50k FPT Scale$1,000
$100k FPT Scale$1,500
  1. The starting max open size in the table above applies from the moment the funded account is activated.
  2. The funded starting max open size is deliberately lower than the evaluation max open size for the same account. It increases only through approved payouts, under Scaling Tables by Account Size.

5. Position Limits

  1. No single open position may exceed your account's current max open size.
  2. No position may exceed 5% of that market's trailing 24-hour volume.
  3. Your allowed position size is therefore the lower of those two limits.
  4. Orders that exceed the allowed size are blocked by the trading system rather than filled and penalised afterwards.
  5. Thin, unavailable or temporarily restricted markets may not be tradeable. The full treatment is in Max Open Size and Market-Volume Limits.

6. Qualifying Payout Days

A payout cycle requires 5 qualifying payout days. A day qualifies when your net profit for that day meets or exceeds the minimum for your account size.

AccountQualifying payout day minimum
$25k FPT Scale$100
$50k FPT Scale$150
$100k FPT Scale$200
  1. Five qualifying payout days are required before a payout can be requested on any account size.
  2. A day counts only if its net profit meets or exceeds the minimum in the table above.
  3. A day below the minimum does not count toward the five, whether it was profitable by a smaller amount or not profitable at all.
  4. The five days do not have to be consecutive.

7. The 40% Payout-Cycle Consistency Rule

  1. No single trading day may account for more than 40% of the total profit counted toward a payout cycle.
  2. The rule is checked against the payout cycle's total profit at the point you request a payout.
  3. FPT has settled the core rule above. Exactly how losing days, a mid-cycle reset and a partially completed cycle enter the calculation is not yet finalised, and the complete treatment will be published in Funded 40% Payout-Cycle Consistency before launch. FPT will not apply an edge-case interpretation that has not been published.

8. Payout Caps and Scaling

  1. Your payout cap and your max open size both step up on each approved payout, not on a payout request and not on a profitable day.
  2. The full milestone tables for each account size are published in Scaling Tables by Account Size and are incorporated into the Program Agreement alongside this article.
  3. Each account size reaches a terminal tier at the fourth and later approved payouts, after which the payout cap and max open size stop scaling.

9. Payout Review and Processing

  1. Every payout request is reviewed before approval. Review is a separate step and FPT does not state a fixed time limit for it.
  2. Approved payouts are processed within 48 hours of approval.
  3. Review may examine trading behaviour, rule compliance, account identity and payment-method ownership. See Why a Payout May Require Review and Payout Denial and Appeal.
  4. Identity verification must be complete before a funded account is activated or a payout is released. See Verification Before Funded Activation or Payout.

10. Account, Allocation and Payout Maximums

  1. You may hold a maximum of 5 active accounts, counting evaluation and funded accounts together.
  2. Your maximum combined allocation is $500,000.
  3. Your aggregate payout maximum is $25,000 per month across all of your accounts. Whether that month is measured as a calendar month or a rolling 30-day period is not yet finalised, and FPT will publish the measurement period before launch.
  4. These limits are per person, not per profile or per email address. See Account Limits and Allocation Caps.

11. Risk Limits and Breach

  1. A funded account is breached when it exceeds its loss limit or drawdown floor, when it violates the position limits in clause 5, or when it violates the good-faith conduct rules in clause 13.
  2. There is no daily loss limit on an FPT Scale account. Drawdown is measured as an end-of-day trailing floor.
  3. The specific loss limit and drawdown floor that govern your funded account are shown in your dashboard for that account. Where a per-size funded figure is not published in this article, FPT will publish it here before launch rather than apply an unpublished number.
  4. A breach ends the funded account. Profit that had accrued in a breached account is not payable. The consequences are set out in Breaches During the Funded Stage.

12. Funded Resets

  1. Funded resets are not available at launch. A breached funded account cannot be reset back into the funded stage.
  2. To return to the funded stage you purchase a new FPT Scale evaluation and pass it, subject to the account limits in clause 10.
  3. Reset fees published elsewhere in the Help Center apply to evaluation accounts only. See Funded Resets at Launch.

13. Good-Faith Conduct

  1. Every funded account is subject to the good-faith trading rules, including the prohibitions on account sharing, duplicate profiles, coordinated trading across related accounts, and exploitation of pricing or data feeds.
  2. Those rules are published in Good-Faith Trading and Prohibited Conduct and are incorporated into the Program Agreement in their own right.
  3. FPT may monitor and review account activity, and may analyse orders, positions, timing, risk behaviour and market selection, for platform operation, fraud prevention, payout review, analytics and product development.

14. Versioning and Changes

  1. This article is version 1.0, effective 2026-08-04.
  2. A material change bumps this article's version and states whether it applies only to accounts activated on or after the new effective date, or also to existing funded accounts.
  3. A non-material change — a typo, a clearer example, an added worked calculation — updates the last-updated date only.
  4. Material purchased terms are never silently changed retroactively.
