This article is a versioned FPT Scale rule and is incorporated by reference into the FPT Scale Program Agreement. Read it alongside the FPT Scale Program Agreement and the Current FPT Scale Rules Index.

Three limits apply to you as a person, not to a single account. You may hold a maximum of 5 active FPT accounts. Those accounts may total a maximum of $500,000 in combined allocation. And across every account you hold, FPT will pay you a maximum of $25,000 in performance payouts per month.

These limits exist because FPT funds real performance payouts from its own capital. Sizing the total exposure one person can carry is what makes the payout promise sustainable. The limits are stated here in full so that no part of them lives only in a support answer.

1. Scope and Definitions

1.1 This article applies to every FPT customer and to every FPT Scale account that customer holds, at every account size, in both the evaluation stage and the funded stage.

1.2 "Account" means one FPT Scale evaluation account, together with the funded account it becomes if it passes. An evaluation that passes and is activated as a funded account is the same account throughout — it does not consume a second slot.

1.3 "Active" means an account with a status of Reserved, Active Evaluation, Passed / Pending Funded Review, or Funded. Accounts with a status of Breached or Closed are not active and do not count toward the limit. A Suspended account does count as active while the suspension is in place. The full definitions are in Account Status Definitions.

1.4 "Allocation" means the nominal account size of an FPT Scale account — $25,000, $50,000 or $100,000. Allocation is a simulated account size that sets your rule parameters. It is not cash, it is not capital held for you, and it is not money you can withdraw. See the Simulation and Risk Disclosure.

1.5 "Combined allocation" means the sum of the account sizes of all of your active accounts.

1.6 "Person" means one individual human being. Limits are counted per person, not per email address, per profile or per payment method. FPT permits one FPT profile per person, as set out in One FPT Profile Per Person.

2. Maximum Active Accounts

2.1 You may hold a maximum of five (5) active FPT accounts at any one time.

2.2 The five-account maximum is counted across the evaluation stage and the funded stage together. Five evaluation accounts, five funded accounts, or any mix of the two, all reach the same limit.

2.3 Account sizes may be mixed freely within the limit. Five $25,000 accounts and five $100,000 accounts are both five accounts.

2.4 A slot is released when an account becomes Breached or Closed. Once a slot is released you may purchase a replacement account, subject to the allocation limit in section 3.

2.5 The limit may not be circumvented. Creating a second profile, using a second email address, purchasing under another person's name, or having another person purchase on your behalf are all breaches of this rule and of Good-Faith Trading and Prohibited Conduct.

2.6 Accounts held by people who trade in coordination, or who are otherwise related in a way that makes them a single risk, may be treated as one set of accounts for the purpose of this limit. See Coordinated Trading and Related Accounts.

3. Maximum Combined Allocation

3.1 Your active accounts may total a maximum combined allocation of $500,000.

3.2 A purchase that would take your combined allocation above $500,000 will not be permitted, even if you have fewer than five active accounts.

3.3 Both limits apply at the same time. A permitted set of accounts must satisfy the five-account maximum and the $500,000 allocation maximum.

3.4 Combined allocation is recalculated whenever an account is added, breached or closed.

4. How the Two Limits Interact — Worked Examples

Accounts heldNumber of accountsCombined allocationPermitted
5 x $100k5$500,000Yes — at both limits exactly
4 x $100k + 1 x $50k5$450,000Yes
5 x $50k5$250,000Yes — allocation is well under the cap
3 x $100k + 2 x $25k5$350,000Yes
6 x $25k6$150,000No — six accounts exceeds the five-account maximum
4 x $100k + 2 x $50k6$500,000No — allocation is fine, but six accounts exceeds the maximum

4.1 The examples above are illustrative. The controlling rules are sections 2 and 3.

4.2 Note the two directions in which you can be blocked. Six $25,000 accounts total only $150,000 but are still refused, because the account count is a separate limit. Five $100,000 accounts sit exactly at $500,000, so no further account of any size may be added until a slot and allocation are released.

4.3 If you are choosing between one large account and several smaller ones, the trade-offs are set out in Compare $25k, $50k and $100k FPT Scale and Choosing an Account Size.

5. Aggregate Monthly Payout Maximum

5.1 FPT will approve a maximum of $25,000 in total performance payouts per person per month, across every account that person holds.

5.2 The $25,000 maximum is an aggregate. It is not a per-account figure and it is not increased by holding more accounts.

5.3 The aggregate maximum applies in addition to the per-account payout caps that scale with each approved payout. A payout must satisfy the per-account cap for that account first, and then fit within your remaining aggregate allowance for the period. The per-account caps are published in Scaling Tables by Account Size and Payout Caps.

5.4 Payout caps are stated net to the trader. A cap of $2,500 means you can receive up to $2,500 after the 90/10 profit split has been applied internally. The aggregate maximum is read the same way — it is the total amount FPT pays you.

5.5 Worked example. Suppose you hold five funded $100,000 accounts, all of which have reached the terminal tier where the per-account payout cap is $3,500. If all five accounts complete a payout cycle and each is approved at its cap, that is 5 x $3,500 = $17,500, which is inside the $25,000 aggregate maximum. The aggregate maximum begins to bind when your accounts complete more than one payout cycle inside the same measurement period — for example, if those same five accounts each completed a second approved cycle at the cap in the same period, the arithmetic total of $35,000 would exceed the maximum and payouts would be limited to $25,000 for that period.

5.6 A payout is only ever paid on an approved payout request. Nothing in this section creates an entitlement to a payout. The qualifying conditions are in Payout Rules and Review.

6. The Monthly Measurement Period Will Be Published Before Launch

6.1 The $25,000 figure is settled. Whether the "month" is measured as a calendar month or as a rolling 30-day period is not yet settled.

6.2 FPT will not guess at this in a support answer. The measurement period, and the treatment of an approved amount that would exceed the maximum for a period, will be published in this article before launch, and this article's version and effective date will be updated when they are.

6.3 Until that is published, treat the rule as stated in section 5.1 — $25,000 per person per month in total — and do not assume either measurement basis.

7. Verification and Enforcement

7.1 FPT verifies identity before a funded account is activated and before a payout is paid. Verification is how the per-person limits in this article are enforced in practice. See Verification Before Funded Activation or Payout.

7.2 Where FPT determines that one person holds accounts across more than one profile, FPT may consolidate or close the excess accounts, withhold payouts attributable to the excess accounts, and take the actions set out in Fraud and Abuse Prevention.

7.3 A determination under this section follows the review process described in Rule Violations and the Review Process, and may be appealed as set out in Appeals and Support.

8. Changes to This Article

8.1 This article is version 1.0, effective 2026-08-04.

8.2 An increase to any limit in this article takes effect for everyone from its effective date.

8.3 A reduction applies to purchases made on or after its effective date. A reduction does not retroactively close accounts you already hold.

8.4 Every purchase records the version of this article in force at the time it was made. An unversioned support answer never changes your purchased terms. The full precedence order is in the FPT Scale Program Agreement.
