FPT Scale comes in three sizes — $25,000, $50,000 and $100,000. They run the same one-step evaluation with the same rules; what changes is the price, the size of the target, how much room you have before the loss floor, and how large your positions and payouts can get.

If you are undecided, the $50k FPT Scale is the intended starting point. It is FPT's headline account, the default selection in the account builder, and the size the rest of the site is built around. Nothing stops you starting smaller or larger.

The Four Numbers That Actually Decide It

1. The Target as a Share of the Account

AccountProfit targetTarget as a share of account size
$25k$1,2505%
$50k$3,0006%
$100k$6,0006%

The $25k asks for the smallest percentage move, which is one reason it is the gentlest entry.

2. The Room You Get Before the Floor

AccountMaximum lossLoss allowance as a share of account size
$25k$1,0004%
$50k$2,0004%
$100k$3,0003%

The $100k has the largest absolute buffer but the tightest relative one. It is the least forgiving size in percentage terms, which matters more than the headline number.

3. The Ratio of Target to Loss Allowance

AccountTargetMax lossYou must make this much per dollar of allowed loss
$25k$1,250$1,000$1.25
$50k$3,000$2,000$1.50
$100k$6,000$3,000$2.00

This is the single clearest way to compare difficulty. The $25k is the easiest ratio to clear; the $100k demands the most profit per dollar of risk budget.

4. Position Size, Not Account Size

Your real constraint day to day is max open size, not the account's headline number.

AccountEvaluation max openFunded startFunded maximum
$25k$1,000$500$1,500
$50k$2,000$1,000$2,500
$100k$3,000$1,500$3,500

Note that max open size drops when you pass and then scales back up on each approved payout. A separate limit always applies on top of this one — no position may exceed 5% of that market's trailing 24-hour volume, so a thin market can be the binding constraint regardless of your size. See Max Open Size and Market-Volume Limits.

What Each Size Is Good For

$25k Scale — the lower-cost entry. The cheapest way in at $69 one-time or $59/mo, the smallest target in percentage terms, and the friendliest target-to-loss ratio. The trade-off is the ceiling: $1,500 is the terminal payout cap and $100 is the qualifying-day minimum, so it takes more cycles to reach serious payout numbers. Good if you want to prove the process before committing more.

$50k Scale — the main offer. $99 one-time or $79/mo, a $3,000 target with $2,000 of loss allowance, $1,000 of position size at funded start scaling to $2,500, and a $2,500 terminal payout cap. It is the size FPT builds around and the default in the account builder. Good if you want the standard experience without a specific reason to go up or down.

$100k Scale — the higher-capital offer. $159 one-time or $129/mo, the largest positions ($3,000 in evaluation, up to $3,500 funded) and the highest payout ceiling ($3,500). The cost is difficulty: $2.00 of profit required per dollar of loss allowance, and a $200 qualifying-day minimum. Good if your strategy needs size and you already trust it.

Scaling Ceilings, Fully Laid Out

One-Time or Monthly?

The one-time Founder purchase is a single charge for that evaluation. The monthly Founder plan charges the first month immediately, does not auto-renew before launch, and renews 30 days after your evaluation is activated, then monthly until you cancel.

The monthly Founder price is locked for the life of that specific, uninterrupted subscription. The lock ends if the subscription is cancelled, refunded, charged back, lapses through failed payment, or is terminated for a rules or account violation. See One-Time vs Monthly Founder Billing and How the Monthly Founder Price Lock Works.

Reset fees differ by plan: a reset on the monthly plan is cheaper ($39 / $59 / $99) but is a one-time charge that does not lower your subscription price.

Can You Hold More Than One?

Yes, within limits:

  • Maximum 5 active accounts per person, evaluation and funded combined.
  • Maximum $500,000 combined allocation per person.
  • Maximum $25,000 in payouts per person per month across all accounts.
  • One FPT profile per person — duplicate profiles are a breach, not a workaround.

So the largest configuration inside the allocation cap is five $100k accounts. Note that the $25,000 monthly payout maximum applies to you as a person, not to each account. See Account Limits and Allocation Caps.

A Note on What Account Size Means

An account size is a risk parameter, not cash. A $50k account describes the scale your performance is measured at — target, loss floor, position limits. It is not $50,000 of funding, buying power or withdrawable money. See Are FPT Accounts Simulated?.

If You Change Your Mind

Purchases are final except where applicable law requires otherwise. FPT may, at its sole discretion, consider a refund request made before any simulated trade has been placed on the purchased evaluation — approval is never guaranteed, and there is no discretionary refund after a trade has been placed or after a rule violation. See Founder Refund Requests Before Trading and the Refund Policy.

That makes the size decision worth getting right before you buy rather than after.
