Every FPT Scale evaluation can be bought at Founder pricing in one of two ways: a one-time purchase, or a monthly plan. Both buy the same evaluation account with the same rules, the same objectives and the same path to funded.
The difference is money and commitment. A one-time purchase is a single charge and you own the evaluation outright. A monthly plan is a lower entry price with a recurring charge that starts after your evaluation is activated, and a cheaper reset if you need one.
The Prices
The Founder code is FOUNDER.
| Account | Regular price | Founder one-time | Founder monthly |
|---|---|---|---|
| $25k FPT Scale | $169 | $69 | $59/mo |
| $50k FPT Scale | $249 | $99 | $79/mo |
| $100k FPT Scale | $399 | $159 | $129/mo |
The $50k FPT Scale is the only size with a published regular monthly rate: $99 per month, reduced to $79 per month for Founders. The other two sizes have a Founder monthly price with no published regular monthly rate, so no struck-through comparison is shown for them.
Reset Fees Differ by Plan
If you ever need to reset an evaluation, the fee depends on which plan you are on.
| Account | Reset on a one-time purchase | Reset on a monthly plan |
|---|---|---|
| $25k FPT Scale | $69 | $39 |
| $50k FPT Scale | $99 | $59 |
| $100k FPT Scale | $159 | $99 |
A reset on a monthly plan is a one-time charge. It does not lower your subscription price and it does not add a month. Full detail is in Pricing and Reset Fees and Reset Fees. Note that funded resets are not available at launch — see Funded Resets at Launch.
When You Are Charged
One-time. A single charge at checkout, at the Founder price. Nothing recurs.
Monthly. The first monthly payment is charged at checkout. It prepays the first month of evaluation access, and that month begins when your evaluation is activated — not on the purchase date. There is no auto-renewal before launch. The second charge occurs 30 days after activation, then monthly until you cancel.
So on either plan, exactly one charge is taken before launch. See Why Payment Is Charged Immediately and When Monthly Renewal Begins.
A Worked Comparison on the $50k Account
Founder one-time is $99. Founder monthly is $79 per month.
| Months of access after activation | One-time total | Monthly total |
|---|---|---|
| Month 1 | $99 | $79 |
| Month 2 | $99 | $158 |
| Month 3 | $99 | $237 |
| Month 6 | $99 | $474 |
The monthly plan is cheaper to start and more expensive to hold. It suits a trader who expects to pass quickly, or who wants the lower reset fee and the option to stop. The one-time purchase suits a trader who would rather pay once and never think about billing again.
The same shape applies at the other sizes: $69 one-time against $59 per month on the $25k, and $159 one-time against $129 per month on the $100k.

What Does Not Change Between the Plans
The account itself. Profit target, maximum loss, EOD trailing drawdown, the 40% consistency rule, the five profitable days, max open size, market coverage, the 90/10 split and the scaling table are all determined by the account size, never by how you paid. See Complete Evaluation Rules by Account Size and Scaling Tables by Account Size.
Payouts do not differ by plan either. A funded trader on a monthly plan receives the same 90/10 split and the same caps as one who paid once.
The Monthly Price Lock
Your Founder monthly rate is locked for the life of that specific, uninterrupted subscription. It ends if the subscription is cancelled, refunded, charged back, lapses through a failed payment, or is terminated for a rules or account violation — and a later repurchase is at then-current pricing.
That is the main thing to weigh before cancelling a monthly plan mid-way. The full rules are in How the Monthly Founder Price Lock Works.
Refunds Work the Same Way on Both
Purchases are final except where applicable law requires otherwise. FPT may, in its sole discretion, consider a refund request made before any simulated trade has been placed on the evaluation; approval is not guaranteed. See Founder Refund Requests Before Trading.
And on both plans, if FPT cancels the launch or does not activate purchased evaluations by the end of the final extended window, affected customers receive a full refund to the original payment method. See What Happens If FPT Does Not Launch.
Can You Switch Plans?
Changing an existing purchase from one billing type to the other is not part of the Founder purchase terms. If you need a different plan, contact support before buying a second account — note that every account counts toward the five-active-account and $500,000 combined-allocation limits in Account Limits and Allocation Caps.
Taxes and Provider Charges
Taxes and any charges imposed by a payment provider are additional on both plans and are not covered by the Founder price or the price lock. See Taxes and Customer Responsibility.
