You can cancel a Founder monthly subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals.

Two things it does not do: it does not by itself refund money already charged, and it does not preserve your Founder price lock. Cancelling ends that lock permanently, and a later repurchase is at then-current pricing.

How to Cancel

  1. Sign in to your FPT account.
  2. Open the billing or subscription section of your dashboard.
  3. Cancel the subscription for the account you want to stop.
  4. Check for the cancellation confirmation email.

If you cannot reach the option — for example because you cannot sign in — email billing@fundedpredictiontrader.com from the email address on your FPT account and say which account you want cancelled. Sign-in problems are covered in Login and Account Access Issues.

Cancel before your next renewal date. A renewal that has already been taken is a completed charge, and cancelling afterwards stops the following one rather than reversing the last one.

The Price Lock You Give Up

Your Founder monthly rate — $59/mo on the $25k, $79/mo on the $50k, $129/mo on the $100k — is locked for the life of that specific, uninterrupted subscription. Cancellation interrupts it.

Once it is gone, it is gone. A later purchase is at whatever FPT is charging at that moment. This is worth pausing over before you cancel to take a short break, because the break can be more expensive than the pause it saves. The rule in full is in How the Monthly Founder Price Lock Works.

Cancelling Before Launch

If you cancel while the evaluation is still not tradeable, remember what has already happened at checkout: the first monthly payment was charged and it prepaid the first month of evaluation access. Cancelling stops renewals that had not yet started — there is no auto-renewal before launch — so its main effect before launch is to end the subscription and its price lock.

If what you actually want is your money back rather than a stopped subscription, that is a refund request, not a cancellation. See below.

Cancellation Is Not a Refund Request

They are separate actions, and cancelling does not put a refund request in front of anyone.

  • Cancellation stops future charges.
  • A refund request asks FPT to return money already charged. FPT may, in its sole discretion, consider a request made before any simulated trade has been placed on the evaluation. Approval is not guaranteed, and the route closes once you place a simulated trade. See Founder Refund Requests Before Trading and Refunds.

Separately from both, if FPT cancels the launch or does not activate purchased evaluations by the final extended deadline, affected customers receive a full refund to the original payment method whether or not they cancelled. See What Happens If FPT Does Not Launch.

What Happens to the Account

Cancelling the subscription ends access to the evaluation that subscription paid for. Your FPT profile itself remains; you are not deleted as a customer, and any other accounts you hold are unaffected — each subscription is cancelled separately.

If you want your personal data handled in a particular way, the routes and rights are in the Privacy Policy and requests go to privacy@fundedpredictiontrader.com.

Alternatives Worth Considering First

  • A reset instead of a cancellation. If the problem is a breached evaluation rather than the cost, a reset on a monthly plan is a one-time charge at the lower monthly-plan reset fee and keeps your subscription and price lock intact. See Reset Fees.
  • Fixing a payment method. If the trigger is a card problem rather than a decision, updating the card avoids a lapse — and a lapse ends the price lock just as a cancellation does. See Failed Payments.
