An FPT Scale account is bought with a program-access fee. You are not depositing trading capital and FPT does not hold funds for you — the fee buys access to a simulated evaluation and, if you pass it, to the funded stage.
You can pay once or pay monthly. Both routes buy the same account with the same rules. Founder pricing on both is unlocked with the code `FOUNDER`.

The $50k monthly plan is the only size with a published regular monthly rate alongside it — $99/mo, shown struck through against the Founder price of $79/mo. No regular monthly rate has been approved for the $25k or $100k plans, so those show a single price with nothing struck through. If you see a monthly anchor quoted for either of those sizes anywhere, it is wrong.
Reset Fees
If an evaluation is breached, you do not have to buy a whole new account. You can reset the same account back to its starting state for a reset fee.

Two things to be clear about.
- A monthly-plan reset is a one-time charge. It is billed once, at the moment you reset. It does not change, reduce or pause your monthly subscription price, and your normal renewal continues on its existing schedule.
- Resets are for evaluation accounts. Funded resets are not available at launch. See Funded Resets at Launch for what that means and what your options are if a funded account is breached.
A reset restores the account's starting balance, its drawdown floor and its rule parameters. Progress toward your profit target and your profitable days starts again from zero. The mechanics are in Reset Fees.
When You Are Charged
One-time purchase. The Founder price is charged immediately at checkout. There is nothing further to pay for that evaluation.
Monthly plan. The first monthly payment is also charged immediately. It prepays your first month of evaluation access, and that month begins when your evaluation is activated — not on the day you paid. Nothing renews before launch. The second charge lands 30 days after your evaluation is activated, and monthly after that until you cancel.

What the Founder Price Locks
A Founder monthly purchase locks that monthly price for the life of that specific, uninterrupted subscription. As long as it renews normally, the price does not move.
The lock ends if that subscription is cancelled, refunded, charged back, lapses through a failed payment, or is terminated for a rules or account violation. If you come back afterwards, you buy at whatever the price is then.
The lock also applies only to that one account subscription and its ordinary renewals. It does not automatically extend to additional accounts, resets, upgrades, FPT Direct, new products, taxes, or charges imposed by a payment provider. One-Time or Monthly?
Neither route gets a better account, so the decision is about how long you expect to be in evaluation and how you prefer to pay.
- One-time is a single fixed cost with nothing to cancel. It is the simpler purchase.
- Monthly has a lower entry price and cheaper resets, and it keeps running until you cancel it.

Refunds
Purchases are final except where applicable law requires otherwise. FPT may, at its sole discretion, consider a refund request made before any simulated trade has been placed on the purchased evaluation — approval is never guaranteed. Once a simulated trade has been placed, or after an account-rule violation, no discretionary refund is available.
There is one mandatory refund. If FPT cancels the launch, or does not activate purchased evaluations by the end of the final extended launch window, affected customers receive a full refund to the original payment method.
