FPT separates two very different things. A hard breach — reaching the maximum-loss floor — is automatic, immediate and mechanical. A conduct concern is not automatic: it goes through a review, you are told what the concern is, and you get to respond.

Most traders will only ever meet the first kind, and most reviews end with no action.

What Is Not a Violation

It is worth being precise about this, because traders often assume a warning where none exists:

  • Missing an objective is not a violation. Not reaching the profit target, not recording five profitable days, or having a single day above the 40% consistency ceiling are unmet objectives. You keep trading.
  • A blocked order is not a violation. When the trading system refuses an order that exceeds max open size or the 5% market-volume cap, the control worked. Nothing is recorded against you.
  • A losing day is not a violation. There is no daily loss limit at any account size.
  • Being under review is not a finding. A review is a question, not a verdict.

Hard Breach: the Maximum-Loss Floor

Reaching the loss floor ends the evaluation on that account immediately. Open simulated positions are closed by the system and the account moves to a breached status.

The floor is one maximum loss below the account's highest end-of-day balance, and it locks at the starting balance plus $100 — $25,100, $50,100 and $100,100. The mechanics and a day-by-day table are in EOD Trailing Drawdown, and the consequences are in What Happens When an Account Is Breached.

You may restart by purchasing a reset — see Reset Fees. Note that funded resets are not available at launch; see Funded Resets at Launch.

Conduct Review: How It Works

  1. Trigger. A review begins from routine monitoring, from a payout review, or from information FPT receives. FPT monitors account activity and may analyse orders, positions, timing, sizing, risk behaviour, market selection, performance and related account activity.
  2. Notice. FPT tells you that the account is under review and states the category of concern — for example account sharing, coordinated trading, or platform exploitation. You are not left guessing which rule is at issue.
  3. Pause. Trading, a funded activation or a pending payout may be paused while the review runs. A pause is protective and is not a finding.
  4. Information request. FPT asks for what it needs: an explanation of a strategy, confirmation of who placed specific trades, identity verification, or details of a relationship between accounts. Respond fully and promptly — an unanswered request is the most common reason a review drags.
  5. Assessment. FPT reviews the activity against the rule in question, using the version of that rule recorded against your purchase.
  6. Decision. You are told the outcome and the reason for it.

FPT does not publish a fixed review duration and will not promise one, because reviews differ enormously in complexity. What FPT will do is tell you the review is open and tell you what it needs from you.

The Range of Outcomes

FPT applies the least severe response that addresses the conduct. In rough order of severity:

  1. No action. The activity is explained or was misread. The account continues.
  2. Clarification and guidance. The conduct was borderline or inadvertent; you are told what to change.
  3. Voiding affected trades or an affected result. Where specific trades produced the problem, those trades or that result do not count.
  4. Payout denial. A pending payout is not paid. See Payout Denial and Appeal and Why a Payout May Require Review.
  5. Account reset, suspension or closure. The account involved is stopped.
  6. Group-wide closure. Where accounts are found to be related, every account in the group may be closed, including ones that individually look compliant.
  7. Termination of the program relationship. Reserved for fraud, identity misrepresentation, and deliberate, repeated exploitation.

A discretionary refund is not available after an account-rule violation. Refund eligibility generally is governed by the Refund Policy.

How to Appeal

Any adverse decision can be appealed.

  1. Email support@fundedpredictiontrader.com from the email address on the account, with "appeal" in the subject line.
  2. Include your account size, the account identifier shown in your dashboard, and the decision you are appealing.
  3. Explain what you believe was misread, with specifics — dates, markets, times, position sizes.
  4. Attach anything that supports it: screenshots, your own records, an explanation of the strategy.
  5. If the decision turned on a relationship between accounts, say plainly what the relationship is. A disclosed connection is a fact; a discovered one is a problem.

An appeal is reviewed by FPT and you are told the result. The route and what to expect are set out in Appeals and Support.

Which Rules Apply to You

Each purchase records the version of every incorporated rules article that was in force at the moment of purchase. A review is assessed against those versions, not against a later rewrite.

  • A material change to an evaluation parameter applies to accounts purchased on or after its effective date, and to an existing evaluation only if the change notice says so expressly.
  • Conduct rules protect the integrity of the program and apply to all accounts from their effective date, including existing accounts.
  • An unversioned support answer never changes your purchased terms.

The controlling documents are Complete Evaluation Rules by Account Size, Good-Faith Trading and Prohibited Conduct, the FPT Scale Program Agreement and the FPT Scale Rules Index.

Still Need Help?

If your account is under review and you are unsure what has been asked of you, reply to the notice or email support@fundedpredictiontrader.com. Answering the question is almost always the fastest way to close a review.
