If FPT makes a decision you believe is wrong — a breach finding, a closed account, a withheld or denied payout, a voided result — you can ask for it to be looked at again. Say so, in writing, with the specifics.
FPT would rather correct its own mistake than defend it. The whole point of publishing versioned rules is that a decision can be checked against the exact text that was in force.
Which Address to Use
| Subject | Address |
|---|---|
| General questions, account help, refund requests, appeals | support@fundedpredictiontrader.com |
| Billing, charges, renewals, failed payments | billing@fundedpredictiontrader.com |
| Privacy requests and data rights | privacy@fundedpredictiontrader.com |
| Formal legal notices and disputes | legal@fundedpredictiontrader.com |
Start at support unless your matter is a formal legal notice. An appeal is a support matter, not a legal one, until it stops being resolvable. General contact guidance is in Contacting FPT Support.
How to Write an Appeal That Works
- Reply on the existing thread if there is one. A new email starts a new context and slows everything down.
- Write from the email address on the account. Otherwise the first exchange is spent proving who you are.
- Name the decision. Which account, which date, which outcome, and any reference FPT gave you.
- State what you think is wrong, in one sentence. Not the whole history — the specific finding you are challenging.
- Point at the rule. Quote the article and the clause you believe was applied incorrectly, and link it. Every incorporated rules article is versioned and listed in the Current FPT Scale Rules Index.
- Give the evidence. Markets, times, order sequence, screenshots, what you saw on your side. Specifics beat assurances.
- Say what outcome you want. Restore the account, re-run the review, release the payout, correct a statistic.
An appeal that says "this is unfair, please reconsider" gives FPT nothing to check. An appeal that says "on 12 August the review treated my 14:30 entry as late-entry, but the market's expiration was the following day" gives FPT something it can verify in minutes.
What an Appeal Is Checked Against
Two things: the facts on the account, and the version of the rule that was in force for your purchase.
Each purchase records the applicable rule version. A material change to a rule states whether it applies only to new purchases or also to existing accounts, and material purchased terms are never silently changed retroactively. If a rule changed after you bought, your version is what your account is measured against.
Precedence, highest first, is the checkout or order summary you accepted, then the FPT Scale Program Agreement, then the incorporated versioned rules articles, then the Terms of Use, then the Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Simulation and Risk Disclosure for their own subject matter, and last of all marketing pages and ordinary explanatory FAQs, which are summaries and override nothing.
An Unversioned Support Answer Never Changes Your Terms
This cuts both ways and you should know it in both directions.
If a support reply and a versioned document disagree, the versioned document governs. A support agent cannot give you a rule you did not buy — and equally, cannot take away one you did. If you have been told something that contradicts a published rules article, say so in your appeal and link both; FPT wants to know about the discrepancy.
What Is Genuinely Appealable
Appealable. A finding of fact you can contradict with evidence. A rule applied to the wrong version, the wrong account or the wrong day. A calculation error. A result affected by a technical incident. A verification failure caused by a document problem you can fix.
Not appealable, but worth raising anyway. A published rule you disagree with, applied correctly, is not appealable — but tell FPT why it is a bad rule and the argument goes into the versioning process rather than the bin.
Discretionary. A refund request is discretionary in every case, and approval is never guaranteed. It is only ever considered before a simulated trade has been placed, and never after an account-rule violation. Asking again does not change that, but a genuine mistake described plainly is always worth putting in front of a person.
Timing
Appeal promptly. Records, market data and your own memory are all sharper close to the event, and a review that is still open is easier to reopen than one that has been closed and applied.
FPT does not publish a fixed response time and will not invent one. The only fixed timing in the program is that an approved payout is processed within 48 hours of approval — review and appeal steps sit before approval and carry no stated time promise.

If It Cannot Be Resolved
The Terms of Use set out a formal dispute-resolution process that begins with a written notice to legal@fundedpredictiontrader.com and a good-faith informal resolution period. Read that section before starting it. Support is faster, cheaper and resolves nearly everything.
