FPT pays real money for measured performance. That only works if the measurement is honest, so FPT actively monitors for conduct designed to produce a result rather than earn one.

This article describes what FPT treats as fraud or abuse and what it does about it. The trading-conduct rules themselves are incorporated into the Program Agreement and live in Good-Faith Trading and Prohibited Conduct.

The Line, in One Sentence

Aggressive, unconventional or high-variance trading is allowed; manufacturing a result instead of earning one is not.

FPT does not have a hidden "acceptable style". You can concentrate, hold through resolution, trade thin markets, or take a strategy nobody else is running, and none of that is abuse. What is abuse is producing a number that does not represent your trading — through a defect, through another account, through another person, or through a payment trick.

The Categories FPT Acts On

Platform and data exploitation. Exploiting a simulation fault, a pricing error, a stale or erroneous data feed, a latency artefact, or any other technical defect — whether or not FPT caused it. A profit produced only by a defect is not owed to you. See Price and Data-Feed Exploitation.

Account sharing. Sharing credentials, letting another person trade your account, or trading someone else's. The account holder must be the person placing the trades. See Account Sharing and Duplicate Profiles.

Duplicate profiles. A second registration under another email, another name, an alias or a company, existing to exceed per-person limits. See One FPT Profile Per Person.

Coordinated trading. Opposite or mirrored positions across related accounts so that one is guaranteed to pass — the classic way to convert two fees into one funded account without trading skill. See Coordinated Trading and Related Accounts.

Automation and technical abuse. Bots, scripts, headless browsers, automated checkout, automated order entry, scraping, or circumventing a rate limit, position limit, access control or geographic control — other than through an interface FPT has expressly published for that purpose.

Identity and payment fraud. False registration details, a payment method that is not yours, a payout directed to someone other than the verified account holder, or improper chargeback misuse.

Misrepresentation. Presenting simulated FPT results publicly as live trading results, or impersonating FPT.

How Detection Works

FPT monitors and reviews account activity, and analyses orders, positions, timing, risk behaviour, market selection, performance and related account activity. That is a standing capability, not something switched on when someone is suspected — it is what runs the risk engine, the payout review and the fraud checks.

Detection looks at relationships, not just single trades. Two accounts that never overlap in time can still be related; two profiles that share a payment identity are related whatever names they carry; positions that are individually ordinary can be jointly impossible.

What FPT may do with account data, and what it does not do, is set out plainly in Data Monitoring and Performance Analysis and the Privacy Policy.

What FPT May Do

Depending on what it finds, FPT may:

  1. Pause the account, an evaluation, a payout cycle or a payout review while it investigates.
  2. Void the affected simulated activity, or decline to treat a result produced by a defect or a breach as a valid result.
  3. Withhold or reverse an affected payout.
  4. Cancel affected evaluations, close duplicate profiles, or close the account.
  5. Decline a discretionary refund.
  6. Block or throttle traffic, and pursue any legal remedy available.

FPT applies technical-incident handling consistently in both directions: a profit produced only by a defect is not owed to you, and a loss produced only by a defect will not be held against you.

The Refund Consequence Is Worth Reading Twice

A discretionary refund is only ever considered before any simulated trade has been placed on the purchased evaluation, and is never available after an account-rule violation. Fraud, abuse or improper chargeback misuse may disqualify you from a discretionary refund entirely.

In practice: by the time an abuse finding is made, the refund route is closed. That is why the honest path is also the cheap one. The full policy is in the Refund, Cancellation and Chargeback Policy.

Lawful Disputes Are Not Abuse

FPT does not prohibit a lawful payment dispute and does not treat one as misconduct. What is abuse is disputing a charge you authorised, on a service you used, to obtain a refund the policy does not give you. The distinction, and what to do first, is in Chargebacks and Payment Disputes.

You Get to Respond

A suspicion is not a conclusion. FPT will tell you what it found and give you a route to respond before treating a matter as settled, except where an immediate risk requires acting first. The sequence is in Account Reviews and the appeal route is in Appeals and Support.

If something you did looks worse than it was, say so early and in detail. A trade that exploited an obvious pricing error, reported by you the same day, is a different conversation than the same trade found by FPT three weeks later.

Reporting Something

If you find a simulation fault, a pricing error or a security vulnerability, do not trade it and do not test it further. Report it to support@fundedpredictiontrader.com with the account, the market, the time and what you observed. Reporting a defect is never held against you.
