FPT may require identity verification before activating an account, before releasing a payout, or before continuing to provide the platform. It is not something every customer will be asked for at every stage, and it is not something FPT can pretend to have finalised.
This article says what verification is for, what categories of document are typically requested, and — plainly — what has not been decided yet.
What Has Not Been Decided
The verification process and the provider FPT will use are not selected. No vendor is named anywhere in FPT's documents, because naming one that has not been chosen would be a false statement in a binding contract.
FPT will publish the exact process — how it is started, what is uploaded, how it is reviewed and how long it takes — in this article, before verification is required of anyone. Until that is published, treat the list below as the categories FPT expects to ask for, not as a submitted-and-approved checklist.
FPT also does not publish an "AML policy" page. What it publishes is this: accurate identity-verification language, applied when a legal, payment or fraud-prevention reason calls for it.
Why Verification Exists
| Reason | What it protects |
|---|---|
| Eligibility | That the account holder is at least 18 and has legal capacity |
| Payment integrity | That the payment method used belongs to the person named on the profile |
| Payout integrity | That real money goes to the real account holder and nobody else |
| One profile per person | That per-person limits are not defeated by duplicate registrations |
| Legal and service-provider requirements | That FPT can lawfully serve you where you are |
Verification is not a judgement about you. It is the step that makes a real payout to a real person defensible.
Document Categories Typically Requested
Where verification is required, expect a request from these categories. FPT asks for what the situation needs, not for everything at once.
- Government-issued photo identity. A passport, national identity card or driving licence — a document that shows your legal name, your date of birth and a photograph.
- Proof of address. A recent document showing your name at your current address, of the kind normally accepted for that purpose.
- A liveness or selfie check. A live capture used to confirm that the person holding the document is the person submitting it.
- Payment-method ownership evidence. Limited evidence that the method used at checkout belongs to you, such as the name on the method and a partial identifier. Never a full card number and never a password.
- Business documentation, where relevant. Only where a company or LLC is involved in the payout arrangement — see Trading Through a Company or LLC.
The name and date of birth on those documents must correspond to your FPT profile. If they do not, fix the profile first — see Accurate Account Information.
When You Will Be Asked
The two predictable points are before a funded account is activated and before a payout is released. Both are covered in detail in Verification Before Funded Activation or Payout.
Outside those two, FPT may ask at any point where a legal, sanctions, payment, fraud-prevention or security reason applies — for example, where profile information appears inconsistent, where a payment method does not match the account holder, or where activity suggests two profiles belong to one person.
What FPT Will Never Ask You For
Treat any request for the following as illegitimate, whoever appears to have sent it.
- Your FPT password, or a code from your multi-factor authenticator.
- A full card number, a card security code, or full banking credentials sent by email or chat.
- Payment of a "verification fee". Verification is never charged for.
- Documents sent to an address that is not on the fundedpredictiontrader.com domain.
If you receive a request like that, do not respond to it. Forward it to support@fundedpredictiontrader.com and read Account Security.
How Your Documents Are Handled
Verification data is used for verification, fraud prevention, payout review, and legal or service-provider compliance. It is not used to build a marketing profile of you, and FPT does not intentionally sell personally identifying customer information.
What is collected, why, how long it is kept and which rights you have depends on where you live and is set out in the Privacy Policy. Data requests go to privacy@fundedpredictiontrader.com.
If Verification Does Not Pass
A verification that does not pass is usually a document problem, not a verdict: a blurred capture, an expired document, a name that does not match the profile, an address document that is too old. FPT will tell you what failed and let you resubmit.
Where verification is required and is not completed, or where the information provided turns out to be false, FPT may restrict or close the account and withhold a payout pending review. That sequence is in Account Reviews, and your route to respond is in Appeals and Support.
