Passing the one-step evaluation moves you from an evaluation account to a funded FPT Scale account. Both are simulated. What changes is the risk profile you trade under and the fact that you can now earn real, company-funded performance payouts.

Here is the sequence, in order.

1. You Meet the Evaluation Objectives

You pass when your account has reached its profit target, recorded 5 profitable days, stayed inside its maximum loss and EOD trailing drawdown, and satisfied the 40% consistency rule — no single day above 40% of the profit counted toward the target.

AccountProfit targetProfitable day minimum
$25k FPT Scale$1,250$100
$50k FPT Scale$3,000$150
$100k FPT Scale$6,000$200

The complete parameters are in Complete Evaluation Rules by Account Size.

2. FPT Reviews the Evaluation

Passing is confirmed by review, not by the counter alone. The review checks that the objectives were met under the rules — good-faith trading, position limits, and no account sharing, duplicate profiles or coordinated trading across related accounts.

There is no fixed time limit stated for this review. If anything needs clarification, FPT contacts you at the email on your profile.

3. You Complete Identity Verification

Identity verification must be complete before a funded account is activated. It must also be complete before any payout is released, and the payment method must belong to you.

FPT has not selected or named a verification vendor, and no vendor is named anywhere in FPT's documents. What is required of you is set out in Identity Verification and Verification Before Funded Activation or Payout.

4. Your Funded Account Is Activated

The funded account appears in your dashboard with its own status, its own limits and its own payout progress.

Two things are different from day one of the funded stage.

  • Your max open size resets down to the funded starting figure — $500 on the $25k, $1,000 on the $50k, $1,500 on the $100k. This is lower than your evaluation max open size, on purpose. See Funded Starting Max Open Size.
  • There is no profit target. The funded stage has no finish line. Progress is measured in qualifying payout days instead.

Account status labels and what each one means are listed in Account Status Definitions.

5. You Trade Your First Payout Cycle

A payout cycle needs 5 qualifying payout days. A day qualifies when your net profit for that day is at least $100 on a $25k account, $150 on a $50k, or $200 on a $100k. The days do not have to be consecutive.

The 40% payout-cycle consistency rule applies across the cycle — no single day may be more than 40% of the cycle's total profit. Plan the cycle around that from the first day; a single outsized day is the most common reason a completed cycle is not payable yet.

6. You Request a Payout

Once five qualifying days are recorded and the consistency rule is satisfied, you request the payout from your dashboard.

The split is 90% to you, 10% to FPT. Your first approved payout is capped at $500 on a $25k account, $1,000 on a $50k, and $1,500 on a $100k — and those caps are stated net to you, after the split mechanics are handled internally.

7. The Payout Is Reviewed, Then Processed

Review is a separate step from processing, and FPT does not state a fixed time for review. Approved payouts are processed within 48 hours of approval.

Payout methods, taxes and the appeal route are covered in Payout Methods, Taxes and Customer Responsibility and Payout Denial and Appeal.

8. Your Account Scales

On approval, the account steps up a milestone. Both your payout cap and your max open size increase, and they keep increasing on each approved payout until the terminal tier. The full tables are in Scaling Tables by Account Size.

Funded resets are not available at launch. A breached funded account cannot be reset back into the funded stage — you would purchase and pass a new evaluation instead, within the limit of five active accounts per person.
